"That's nice sweetheart."
"I haven't seen it before. Where did it come from daddy?"
"Blimey if I know. Let's go, I'm going to be late for my job."
The father walked away from his daughter, already talking on the phone to a client. The five year old girl quietly walked up to the door. In her eyes it was pink and decorated with princess stickers. The door handle was like a giant pink gem, it sparkled in the sunlight. She reached for the door knob. It turned even before she laid a finger on it. The little girl gasped. Beyond the door were hills of cotton candy and rainbow unicorns. The sun smiled on the hills, the wind moved the purple flowers side to side. The five year girl stepped into the doorway and into the magical world. The door shut behind her and flew up into the sky. All that was left was the rainy London landscape and a dad talking on his silver phone.

Jill and James were a lovely couple. They usually did everything together. They knew almost everyone and everyone knew them. The couple never did anything out of place. So when a rumor came around that the couple had suddenly vanished people didn't believe it. Jill and James wouldn't just leave. They weren't that inconsiderate.
Then an eye witness came forward. She had been the cook for Jill and James. They fired her months ago but she came (the night they had disappeared) to steal from them. The cook had held a grudge against the couple and had decided that taking things from their house would be justified enough.
She broke into the house and started to pick things out from the kitchen. Not soon after, there had been a loud boom and a flash of bright light. The cook looked to see where the sound had come from and saw a patch of bright light coming from the front lawn. There was pounding from upstairs and down came James. He was in his robe, hair sticking up in many places. His eyes were wild and he didn't even pause to look at the ex-cook. He ran out of the house and towards the spot of light.
"James! Where are you going?!" Jill shouted from upstairs. The cook watched from the kitchen as Jill ran down the stairs and to the front door. She paused for a second... her hand reaching for the door. Jill looked straight at the cook. The cook could see the haunted look in her eyes. The cook became disturbed.
Something was very wrong. Jill ran out the door, and the cook right after. But the cook stopped on the front porch. Jill did not. She ran after James, who was now standing in front of a silver door. The patch of light was not to be seen. James took a step closer to the door and it flung open. Green light flooded out and wind whipped at James' hair.
"James, no!" Jill screamed. James turned towards his wife but his foot was already in the door. The cook watched, unable to move. She watched James mouth move but couldn't make out what he said. Then he moved into the doorway and was gone. Jill let out a low cry and jumped into the doorway after him. The cook watched as the door flew into the sky, emitting the same light.
